FIRST YEAR HURLING BLITZ 2017

FIRST YEAR HURLING BLITZ 2017

Preparations for this year’s first year hurling championship continued on Tuesday February 7th as the CBS took part in another Super Touch Hurling Blitz. The other schools involved included teams from, Mercy College Woodford, Holy Rosary Mountbellew, and Ballygar. The CBS entered two 13 aside teams. The games were 10 minutes a half and each CBS team competed well in all encounters with some fine individual and team displays. No official sores are kept as the emphasis is on promotion of skills as opposed to competition. The players who participated are listed below. The CBS open there Championship campaign against Holy Rosary just before the mid-term break.
