This year the First Year English classes of 1E and 1F participated in the annual MS Ireland READaTHON. The purpose of this readathon was to encourage students to read and to raise vital funds for people living with Multiple Sclerosis.
Through this project, students reading skills were developed both at home and in school. As a result student’s confidence grew as well as inspiring their imagination and introducing them to the world around them.
The MS READaTHON is the perfect opportunity to encourage children to read. It encourages those who already love reading as well as those who seldom read to discover a sense of wonder and adventure, Thank you to all families who were actively involved in this project as well as all those who generously sponsored and made donations to our lively readers.
A total of €870 was raised!
