The CBS wishes to thank all those who participated in our recent 80th year celebrations. A special word of thanks to all staff members who helped prepare for the event, and those who were in attendance throughout the day. Thank you also to the Parents’ Association who served refreshments in the school and ensured that all guests were looked after. Thank you to the many distinguished guests – past pupils and staff members – who came along and joined us in commemorating the CBS’s eightieth birthday.
As well as the celebration in the school, a Vigil Mass was also held that evening in the Sacred Heart church, with members of the school community participating in the liturgical service. The choir and music were all performed by CBS students under the guidance of their teacher and organist Ms. Rosie Reale. Many thanks to those who read Prayers of the faithful and participated in the offertory procession.
We are hugely grateful to all who helped make the day such a success, as well as to all those who travelled from near and far to celebrate with us. As the 80thbirthday celebrations draw to a close in the CBS, we are delighted that the school is going from strength to strength, and it was lovely to see many of those who have helped shape the school over the years. Go raibh maith agaibh go léir.
