Anti-litter Award for CBS Roscommon

Well done to the Transition Year students who won an award for the Best Action Movie at the recent Anti-Litter Award Ceremony presented by Roscommon County Council. The aim of the awards is to encourage public awareness about litter pollution. It is run by Roscommon County Council in conjunction with Skyrocket Media.

This year’s Transition Year students produced a movie with an anti-litter superhero – Trashman -as its protagonist.  The judges complimented the students on their creativity. They said that the production was very animated and reminiscent of a ‘Marvel’ creation. Well done to all students involved.
