iRadio DJ and presenter Dave Duke will be in attendance at the school on the evening of Tuesday May 21st to launch the school’s magazine – Rosc Chomáin 2019 – written and edited as always by Transition Year classes.
This year’s magazine, which is being currently edited by the editorial team, is jam-packed with material. It chronicles some of the phenomenal developments that have taken place within the school throughout the year – notably the All-Ireland win, the successive Connacht football titles, the historic rugby advancement to Connacht Senior Cup and of course our new Guinness World Record. It will also allow us to relive some of the great moments we have experienced in the arts, public speaking, school trips and various extra-curricular activities. out of class activities’
This year’s editorial team included: Jamie Finnegan (Editor), Conor McNulty, Mark Cox, Tomas Crean and Jack Murray (Sub Editors), Naoise Coyle, Alan Merriman and Ben Hoare (Sports Editors) Riley Shaughnessy, Oisin O’Connor, Angel Aparicio and Javier Martinez (Photographers), Robert Owens, Patrick Tiernan and Luke McCormack (Advertising Managers).
TYs will also be presented on the launch night with their Gaisce Awards, Young Whistlers refereeing course, and the School Bank.
