Revised Open Day 2019

Save the date!! To better facilitate parents, the CBS Roscommon has revised the date of its Open Day to Saturday, November 16th. Sixth Class boys from surrounding primary schools will have the opportunity to participate in a host of fun activities, including entertaining mini lessons in new subjects, practical sessions in the school’s laboratories & workshops and group activities and games to introduce students to new friends.

The day will kick off with registration from 9 to 9.30am. This will be followed by a guided tour of the school for Parents and students will have a Welcome Assembly where they will be introduced to teachers, and put into groups for the day’s activities. Students will then begin their workshops and have a chance to look around the school and its facilities. Each of them will receive a free CBS branded jersey, and lunch will be provided.

Principal Fiona Gallagher will speak to Parents at 10am about how the CBS can help students to achieve their academic and personal potential, as well as answering any questions parents may have. After the Principal’s address, parents will have the opportunity to explore the school further or speak to a member of staff about any specific query they may have. Choosing a secondary school is a hugely important decision, and we hope to give students and parents all the information that they need. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
