Last week, Leaving Cert students engaged in a Wellbeing workshop facilitated by Teresa Keane of Mental Health Ireland.
The purpose of the workshop was to teach students how to build resilience for the challenges that they face in the coming months and in their future lives.
Teresa outlined to them positive ways they can handle stress, and steps they can take to improve their mental wellbeing. She also discussed the need for balance at Leaving Cert level and the importance of physical exercise to maintain this balance. It was a fantastic workshop and provided our students with very valuable tools for life. This was a fantastic way to follow up last week’s workshop with John Doran, and is part of the CBS’s overall campaign on bringing Wellbeing to the fore in school life/
