As part of the Infuse Initiative run by Ericsson, second year business students from the CBS took part in a programme to promote Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and Business in Athlone last week.
Students got an insight into a multinational business, a demonstration on hacking and a tour of the hardware facilities. In addition a software engineer explained their multifaceted role.
We would like to extend our thanks to the staff at Ericsson who made us feel so welcome. Our students really enjoyed the day out, many thanks also to Ms O’Connor for organising the trip
