Last Thursday, Sixth year students in the CBS held a cake sale to help fund their Graduation night. Students baked a delicious array of cakes, buns and pastries and brought them into school for the sale. They also had a number of competitions on the day too, including one which required students to guess how many sweets in a jar. They also held a draw too for staff members. Overall, the sale was a great success and the Sixth years proved themselves to be excellent salesmen. They made hundreds of euros to contribute towards their graduation night – a well-deserved result. Many thanks to the students who baked for the events, and to the parents and siblings who helped them out in any way!
