Forensic Fun Workshop

TYs participated in a highly entertaining workshop last week

They had the opportunity to work like forensic scientists during a workshop with the ‘Forensic Fun’ programme and its presenter Alison Leck. Students explored gun powder evidence, fingerprinting and explored time line analysis.

They learnt about some of the most interesting cases throughout history, e.g. the assasination of John F Kennedy, and looked at how investigators found the perpetrator.

It was a really enjoyable day which led to many thought-provoking discussions between the groups. Alison guided students through the process of gathering clues, analysing evidence, investigating & evaluating. It was certainly enquiry-based learning at its best! Many thanks to Alison for a great workshop.
