On Tuesday 9th Feb, CBS students joined millions of people around the world in celebrating Safer Internet Day. All year groups took part in online presentations/workshops facilitated by Ms. Reale.
The workshops were delivered virtually and included presentations and interactive activities which enabled the student to think about the impact of internet usage on their lives, and the importance of resilience in dealing with the possible pitfalls associated with social media.
Students examined the positives & negatives of the internet, cyberbullying and the importance of Coco’s law, digital stress & digital wellbeing. Student Council members are also busy drawing up guidelines for safe internet and technology use in our school.
Many thanks to Ms Reale for delivering the workshops and championing safer internet usage amongst students.
