TY Trip

TY Trip

TY students enjoyed an action-packed trip to Northern Ireland last week, accompanied by their teachers Mr Griffith, Ms Coyle and Mr Sweeney.

Their tour took in Enniskillen Castle, Derry and a trip to the scenic Dunluce Castle. They went on to visit the Giant’s Causeway, followed by a trip to the beach, where they availed of the beautiful weather to dive in and enjoy the waves! Then onto Belfast, where they visited the Titanic Museum and took part in a very interesting tour of Crumlin Gaol. They signed the Peace Wall and took a tour of the Shankill Road. Overall, it was an unforgetable trip where they learned so much about the history, beauty and culture of this island, as well as bonding and having fun in their last few weeks together as a Transition Year group. They now look forward to their graduation ceremony on Monday. Many thanks to TY co-ordinator Mr Griffin for his work with the group, and in putting together this epic tour.
