TYs Work on Tidy Towns Projects

Transition Year students took the opportunity to get in tune with nature and their environment last week by helping out the Tidy Towns Committee on a number of projects. They were involved in planting and maintaining some of the fantastic displays around the town. Working in groups, they enjoyed working outdoors as well as knowing they were helping to improve the aesthetic beauty of their town and community. Many thanks to all TYs for such a great job, and to the Tidy Towns Committee for inviting them on board and helping them to develop their green fingers as well as their community development skills.
