CBS Class of 1969 School Reunion

We have received the following message about a potential school reunion of the Class of 1969. We need your help in sharing this message with anyone who was a member of that class group.

“While it is known that the class of 1969 are spread far and wide both in Ireland and overseas, there is a good possibility that there will enough members of the Class of 1969 found to have a social occasion with a meal in Roscommon Town. Some of the members have already been contacted and are looking forward to the occasion with great eagerness.
It is a special occasion to swap stories of school time, converse on how class friends have got on over the years, and simply to meet after more than 50 years. We can also reminisce on school friends and teachers who have passed away. We have all striven to promote a certain amount of good for society in our own way mostly grounded on good moral principles bestowed on us by our parents, guardians and the keen ethical, moral and Christian input of the Christian Brothers School, Roscommon. Buíochas le Dia leo go léir.

We would like feedback from any school friends of the 1969 class, not already contacted, to register their interest in this reunion by contacting either of the two movers of this reunion plan:
Albert Siggins – albertsiggins@hotmail.com
Ph. No. 090 6663856 mon. 0892428328

Michael Finneran – michael.finneran39@icloud.com

Michael Finneran now lives in Belfast for many years while Albert Siggins lives in Castlestrange, Fuerty, Co. Roscommon. Michael was a prime mover in motivating this reunion campaign.”
