CBS Second Years visited Roscommon Courthouse as part of their CSPE course. They received a tour of the courtroom and a talk on the both the role of the court and the people who work there. They also had the opportunity to stage a mock trial and witness how such proceedings would take place. Students also learned about the history of the building and the future plans for both the courthouse and the court in Roscommon for the next few years. This was a very informative visit and will prove very beneficial to all in their future studies. Many thanks to the staff at Roscommon Courthouse for facilitating the visit.
