The raison d’etre of CBS Roscommon is to provide Catholic education in the Edmund Rice Tradition.  CBS Roscommon is very fortunate to have a Charter which encapsulates the characteristic spirit of our school, and emphasises a holistic approach to education:

• Nurturing faith, Christian spirituality and Gospel-based valued
• Promoting partnership in the school community
• Excelling in teaching and learning
• Creating a caring school community

We are constantly mindful of these goals, and we strive to achieve them through daily life within the school.
