Congratulations to Rory Carthy who has had a multitude of successes in recent months. Rory won his place as the Irish 17&U Representative in Handball and had the unique opportunity to travel to San Francisco during the Christmas break to compete in the USHA Junior 4 Wall Championship. Rory defeated the highly rated Mexican, Andres Cordova convincingly 21-7, 21-6 in the final to become the 17 and Under USHA Junior 4 Wall Champion. Rory also competed in a doubles event with team-mate Anthony Clifford from Kilkenny. The duo went on to win the 17&U USHA Doubles. This is a fantastic achievement by Rory and displays his passion for Handball and his determination and effort. We are immensely proud of Rory here in CBS. Well done Rory.
