Newly appointed principal, Mr Kevin Scollan – a member of the CBS Roscommon school community for the past twenty-seven years – welcomed students and colleagues during his first week in his new role by outlining his commitment to the school and his vision for the future of the school, one with excellence in teaching and learning at the forefront, and one in which embraces diversity and inclusivity.  

On her last day in the CBS, former principal Ms Gallagher spoke to the school community, thanking the parents, staff and students for their support. Head Boy Luke Stephens and past pupil Kevin Fannon paid tribute to Ms Gallagher for her support over the past eight years. She concluded by wishing Mr Scollan and Mr Ferguson every success as they take the helm.
