Students in CBS Roscommon took on twenty-eight other schools in an online chess tournament last week. Aaron, Axel, Ciaran, Craig, Danny, Mikus and Antoni succeeded in making it to the National finals on 6th December. The CBS will be hosting an Anti-Bullying workshop delivered by Dublin City University Anti-Bullying Centre FUSE team. This is a free parents webinar for all FUSE participating schools, which includes the CBS. This will take place on Tuesday, December 14th from 7 pm to 8 pm. CBS Second Years visited Roscommon Courthouse as part of their CSPE course. They received a tour of the courtroom and a talk on the both the role of the court and the people who work there. CBS Roscommon Junior footballers met Garbally last week in Rockfield in Oran. The game started off strong for CBS Roscommon with them securing a few points early on.
