Our students in second year French were treated to “Le Petit Déjeuner”, a French breakfast, to celebrate La Journée Européenne des Langues, European Day of Languages last Thursday September 24th .
103_7042Students had decorated the G.P. room with French flags and bunting. Prepared menus were distributed to each table and students had the opportunity to use their knowledge of French to do role plays ordering and serving the
food. They enjoyed such delicacies as Camembert fromage, pain au chocolat and brioche which our new French assistant, Fabien Chevalier, had brought fresh off the ferry from France. To finish, the students enjoyed “des crêpes”, French pancakes. Délicieux!
