CBS Roscommon Junior footballers met Garbally last week in Rockfield in Oran. The game started off strong for CBS Roscommon with them securing a few points early on. Garbally came back strong and scored 2 goals. CBS reacted quickly and scored a few impressive points and two goals, and began to pull away from Garbally. 

In the second half it looked all CBS with scores coming from the strong forward line. Garbally couldn’t stick with CBS and by the second half water break the game looked out of Garbally’s hands. In the end the CBS won 4-26 to Garballys 3-8. A comfortable win for the CBS, their first win in this county championship. Next up they will face Strokestown on 26th of November. With Strokestown top of the table with 2 wins out of 2. This will be a tough challenge for the CBS but they should be up for it.
