Huge congratulations are in order for past pupil Daniel Hughes who has been awarded a Naughton scholarship. The Naughton Scholarships are a scheme of scholarships to promote the study of engineering, science and technology at third level by students in Ireland.
Daniel was presented with his award by Mr. Enda Kenny at a ceremony in Trinity College Dublin on Saturday 14th October. Daniel is now studying Computer Science and Software Engineering in Maynooth University.
The Naughton Foundation also presented Mr. Scollan with a bursary to further the promotion and study of science in the school. We are very grateful to Martin, Carmel and the Naughton Foundation.
