Last Friday, a representative of The Simon Community held a workshop for the TY’s of CBS Roscommon. He spoke to the lads about homelessness, causes of homelessness and what the Simon Community do to help people who suffer from homelessness. CBS Roscommon Junior footballers met Garbally last week in Rockfield in Oran. The game started off strong for CBS Roscommon with them securing a few points early on. The CBS has been continuing its Stand Up Awareness programme designed to stamp out bullying, and raise awareness for LGBTQ rights. Students have been continuing to learn about ways they can be more inclusive, and have been designing posters with positive messages of tolerance, inclusion and respect.
